Our COVID Response :
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Shiva Group of Institutions & Charitable Trust stood as a pillar of strength for vulnerable communities. We provided emergency relief including food packets, sanitizers, and medical kits to affected families. Our team conducted vaccination awareness campaigns and ensured continued education for underprivileged children through online support. We helped with compassion and care, ensuring that no one was left behind during this global crisis.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought with it an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, and during this time, Shiva Group of Institutions & Charitable Trust rose to the occasion with unwavering commitment and compassion. Our response was swift, structured, and centered on providing immediate and sustainable relief to the most affected sections of society.
We launched several initiatives aimed at addressing the critical needs of the underprivileged during the pandemic:
Food and Essentials Distribution :
We distributed thousands of food packets, ration kits, and hygiene products such as masks, sanitizers, and soaps to families facing economic hardships. Special attention was given to daily wage earners, migrants, and slum dwellers.
Healthcare and Safety Support :
Understanding the urgency of healthcare needs, we collaborated with local healthcare workers to facilitate free health checkups and provide COVID-19 safety kits. Our volunteers also assisted patients in getting medical assistance, COVID-19 safety awareness, and hospital guidance.
Vaccination Awareness and Camps :
To fight vaccine hesitancy, we ran awareness campaigns about the safety and importance of vaccination. We scaled up to reach out to local vaccination camps in partnership with healthcare providers to ensure easy access for remote and underprivileged communities.
Support for Education :
With schools closed, we ensured continuity of learning for children from economically weaker sections by providing study material, conducting online classes. Our team of teachers provided virtual tutoring sessions to keep students engaged and spread awareness about prevention during this global crisis.
Mental and Emotional Well-being :
Understanding the emotional toll of the pandemic, we extended counseling support to children, elderly citizens, and distressed families through our network of trained professionals and volunteers.
Empowering Women During Crisis :
We supported women-led households through sewing machine distributions, skill training, and access to employment opportunities from home, helping them stay economically independent during tough times.

Immediately after the lockdown, the team at Shiva Group of Institutions & Charitable Trust got to work, scouring the contact details of people around us, students and their families so that our people could reach out to them, understand their needs and help meet their needs as quickly and meaningfully as possible. Shiva Group of Institutions & Charitable Trust saw the need to set up a specialised relief team to meet the unique needs, through which we ensured the continuity of online classes and provided financial and health support. Shiva Group of Institutions & Charitable Trust continues to assess the situation to provide the most appropriate support possible.
